Dean's List request for part time students?

I was a part time student in Fall 2009 (9hrs) and made a 4.0 that semester. I've made all As so far, but I didn't "request to be named a Dean's List Scholar" within one semester of making the grades for the Fall. Could this be a problem when I graduate? I don't know how these honors work and I'd hate to graduate with an A in every cl, but not get the right recognition because of a technicality. What do you think? Does anyone out there know the system well enough to advise how this works? (I know it's different for every university - but I'm just looking for some general answers). Thanks!
