Why do the british dislike their culture so much?

i'm a brit, and i don't dislike the culture at all! i currently live in the usa, and have lived and worked in spots all over the world, from india, pakistan, malasia, australia, new zealand - along with most of western europe - brits have some of the best humour, which i miss all the time - i can live without the stodgy weather, and some of the food, but the humour - man we should be so proud of that -
