If we van only see 13.8 billion lightyears into the darkness of space...?

For the past four centuries or so, Galilean symmetry has suggested it's dangerous to presume one inertial reference frame is preferred over another, and there's no reason to presume the universe has a center. There's reason to think the universe is flat and probably infinite, which would mean that there is indeed no center.
