Do people sometimes start shaking like they're having a seizure after getting shot in the back or chest?

I was watching Menace II Society and both times after Caine got shot, he started shaking and foamy looking blood was coming from his mouth. But must of the time on television you don't really see that. So, I'm writing a story kind of similar to Menace II Society and I was wondering should I add the shaking and trembling detail when my characters get shot.
