I you are interested in folowing the Inquest post?
I am stupid. I am ignorant. I am one of those people who do not believe a secret can be kept, especially one this huge. And, I have a very hard time accepting that the Queen of England would be involved in any kind of conspiracy to murder anyone, let alone someone so loved by the world. I realize the Queen was not fully understanding of how popular Diana was, but it is hard for me to believe a woman so entrench in dignity, propriety, .... just noble, could have anything to do with something like this. The royalty's position in Great Britan is tenuous enough as it is. Elizabeth had been an excellent titular head of state to the world since she ascended to the throne. I don' t ever remember even a hint of scandal involving her. Her older son is another story all together, and Elizabeth knows this...I suspect she will not give up the throne to him if she can avoid it. I cannot imagine the UK respecting him as its king. For someone to have been born into perhaps, an uncomfortable position, he has, never the less, acted less that noble for a very long time. His inability to control his emotions makes him very unsuitable as a king. I feel that it would have been highly to his advantage had Diana lived and remarried....it could only have made him look better to the world. As it was left, he appeared to be the man who drove her to her life style. Whether he did nor not is irrelivant. Appearance is everything to royalty. I suspect the Queen welcomes this trial as hopefully to end this conspiracy theory once and for all, but ... in my life time, I have never seen theories fully put to bed...disproved perhaps, but they have a life of their own, don't they?
