Please help with this absolute value equation- 2 different answers from 2 different tutors?

I talked to 2 different tutors at El Camino and received 2 different answers - neither one is considered correct online at Cengage - the equation in question is |a-5| is less than or equal to 6. The first solution set is less than or equal to nine and less than or equal to 1. the second solution set is 1 is less than or equal to a which is less than or equal to 9 - which is correct?
