Should I be worried about this cat?

four days ago a stray extremely malnourished cat showed up at my house I felt sorry for her so I immediately gave her food and water. She is eating and drinking normally and very friendly. She still seems a weak and sleeps often. I am very, very afraid that she may be infected with rabies as I have been exposed to her and there is a baby in the house. What are the symtoms of rabies in a cat? How do they usually act? and what should I do?
